I chose Corinthian Marble, because they were willing to create exactly what I designed. I wanted a poured onyx tub with a matching poured onyx sink undermounted to Cambria quartz. The service was great, and I got exactly what I wanted.”

Mold is a big issue in our humid climate. Why deal with it?
ranite is a natural substance mined out of the ground. It is graded based on where it was mined from, and how it is treated.Contractors Grade Granite: is generally an untreated granite. It is not as old as “A” grades of granite which are mined from lower in the ground. In addition, contractors grade granites are generally untreated and feel grittier to the touch. The colors are generally less vibrant that something mined from deeper in the ground.
Be aware on contractors grade granites. They are more likely to have performance problems long term, and you need to be more diligent in sealing them a they tend to be more porous than untreated granites.
‘A’ grade granites are resin treated. They should still be sealed twice a year, but tend to be more durable and more vibrant.
Watch out for laminated granites!
Laminated granites are 2 CM thick with a 2 CM edge glued to the front edge. If unsupported in the center of your counter, they are much more likely to crack over time. The area around the sink can be a recurring problem as this is a stress point for the stone.
